Siddharth Biniwale

Sid's enthusiasm is contagious and his knowledge for all things wild make him one of our star naturalists. The first trail out in the Jungle triggered the essence of born free wandering within Sid. Right from then exploring wild has become a way of my Life for him! Sid has enjoyed participating and conducting nature orientation camps in different forested areas. His passion in environmental studies took him to the west coast to understand unique 'Bio-Geological' process of formation of Sand reefs. He gained experience in community conservation and joint forest management projects while working as a ground water geologist and naturalist with Foundation for Ecological Security. Then again for a year Sid swam, crawled and walked with different organisms to study tracks of these creatures from Kundalika estuary and adjacent coast. With the deep rooted enthusiasm for wildlife and outdoor mania he rode out to Mudumalai Tiger Reserve before joining us at Satpura. In short, the bond of the wild turned him into a naturalist from a nature enthusiast-geologist.
